The sounds of electronic music from the 90s rumbled over Plaza de La Raza in Los Angeles, CA.

On Saturday, June 4, 2022 the Music and Art Festival, House Issues brought together a community that rejoiced through memory lane as they listed to DJ Irene and Richard Vission among other DJ’s.


A mixed of music, culture, fashion, dance battles and energetic vibes by social media sensations Concrete, and Valentino had the crowd entertained throughout the show.


Songs such as,”Put Your Hands Up in the Air!", “Set you Free”, “Sweet Dreams”, were some of the hit wonders in the mix. A tribute to Mexican music legend Vicente Fernandez with "Volver, Volver" was added on the turntables by DJ Irene, she also included, “Ya Supérame” by Grupo Firme.


Domenica Jaime, shared that it took her back to her party days, ”As soon as I walked in to the plaza, I immediately had flashbacks to ditching parties and nightclubs in the 90s. I felt in my 20 all over again”.


A total of 3500 people attended the SOLD OUT festival.


Event producer, Antonio Pelayo mentioned that he knew it was going to be incredible! He added, “The response was great, I received a lot of positive feedback, and a huge demand for the next House Music venture”.


For those who did not get to experience HOUSE ISSUES this year, a second show has been added for 2023. The date has not yet been released.
